    BME Day 2018

    It is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th Biomedical Engineering Day of the University of Bern. It will take place in Bern in the Auditorium Ettore Rossi of the University Hospital Bern (Inselspital) on May 4, 2018.

    The Biomedical Engineering Day offers Swiss and international companies from the medical technological field an excellent opportunity to meet our highly qualified and motivated Master and PhD students face to face and to present themselves as attractive employers. In the academic year 2017/18 we have approximately 120 Master and more than 60 PhD students. The Biomedical Engineering Day also gives our students the chance to gather information about occupational prospects and career opportunities as well as to present their research projects. Furthermore, this event is a platform to meet with technical and clinical research staff and alumni of our Biomedical Engineering Research program. Biomedical Engineering research groups from our university and our collaborating partner, the Bern University of Applied Sciences, will display their work at our extended exhibition.

    Alumni BBQ 2018

    Dear BME Alumni,

    We are pleased to invite you to our legendary annual Alumni Barbeque. Our community grows every year and we want to give all BME graduates the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed Friday evening barbecue together. Meet former colleagues, professors and engineers from research and industry. Cold drinks, crispy sausages, steaks and various delicious desserts are waiting for you and are offered by the BME Club. So, do not miss the chance!

    Important remark: This event is open to all BME masters and PhD alumni. Club member or not does not matter! All former graduates are encouraged to join the party! Pass on this invitation to your colleagues. Of course, your closest family members (wife/husband and children) are also warmly welcome.

    We are looking forward to welcoming you on Friday, 17st August at 6:30pm at the Murtenstrasse 50 in Bern.
